Occupational therapy – Cognitive perceptual skill training

A child may have cognitive-perceptual deficits. Cognitive would mean thinking and perceptual would mean perceiving through the senses. A child having these deficits may have a functional problem in identifying objects, forms, shapes by touch alone. Impaired attention may also result from these deficits. This skill training helps the child to overcome these deficits and be functional in everyday living.
