Occupational therapy – Visuo-motor integration therapy
Visuo-motor integration is another name for hand-eye coordination. Children with impairment in this integration may not be able to coordinate the inputs from the visual field and the fine motor movements of the hand. The child may not have issues individually with either the visual field or motor movements but it is the coordination between these that cause problems. This therapy addresses this lacuna in the child and help her to coordinate better between the senses.
