Pediatric Physiotherapy – Developmental delay – motor or global

A child is expected to reach different milestones of development with increase in age. When a child does not reach those milestones when compared with its peers, then it is said that there is a developmental delay. The delay could be in just motor movements – walking, grasping, crawling etc of could be more general intellectual developments. Early intervention with the help of trained therapists can help the child overcome these developmental delays.
